Our preparation processes for accreditation were discussed.

After the presentations of the action plan regarding the aspects that are open to development, evaluations were made specifically for our faculty. Our faculty members followed the meeting held with our University Quality Units with great interest. Quality Unit representatives touched upon important points regarding the aspects that are open to development of our faculty in the preparation process for accreditation. The meeting was chaired by the Vice Rector, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Head of the Quality Commission Prof. Dr. Coşkun Karaca and made important statements. In addition, the assistant quality coordinator Prof. Dr. Fatih Konur made a comprehensive presentation regarding the general criteria and improvements within the scope of PUKÖ for our faculty in the preparation process for accreditation. The head of the education and training quality sub-commission and assistant quality coordinator Prof. Dr. Zeki Arsal also underlined important issues regarding education and training that are also included within the scope of İLEDAK criteria. He explained the main action plans such as the elective course proposal for the university pool, the creation of courses to be updated through external stakeholder meetings, etc. Research and development quality sub-commission member, quality coordinator assistant Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çakır emphasized that the necessary improvements will be provided by generating insights with feedback on the event calendar. Assistant quality coordinator, education and training sub-commission member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuriye Özengin conveyed that quality management should be systematically provided and touched on the issues to be considered in intra-faculty performance improvements. Nezih Okur, the quality unit manager of the neighboring Faculty of Agriculture with whom we share the same building, also attended the meeting. Finally, the host, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, informed the quality unit representatives about the studies carried out by the faculty with the relevant accreditation commission in the preparation process for accreditation, the point reached regarding the self-assessment reports, and promised to add the notes he took from the information meeting to the action plan.
