In the first lesson of the in-service training program organized within the scope of the cooperation and stakeholder protocol between Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Promotion and Bolu Governorship Open Door Directorate, “Healthy Communication, Definition and Techniques” was discussed.

BAİBÜ Faculty of Communication Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, who presented the opening lesson that is the basic training of the concept of communication, stated that the main theme of the integrated in-service training program to be offered for four days is “Positive Communication”.

The participation was high on the first day of the in-service training program. The presentation, which was watched carefully by nearly seventy public personnel working in the Governorship, touched on important topics such as basic communication concepts, types and expansions of communication in public institutions, effective communication with citizens in open doors and call centers, effective listening techniques, empathic approach, crisis management, nonverbal communication, body language, therapeutic approach and finally, informing the relatives of those who died after the Kartalkaya fire disaster.
